La Tour Hotel Blackpool, Blackpool

The hotel was a complete disappointment for us. The rooms were not suitable to stay in, with broken furniture and unhygienic conditions. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the manageress was nowhere to be found when we requested a refund. Despite being noisy due to its location under the restaurant extractor, the hotel was clean initially, but the overall experience was ruined by the terrible rooms and lack of staff professionalism.

The hotel had some positives like the immaculately serviced rooms every day and brilliant entertainment on a half-board basis. The staff were exceptional, particularly Andy who worked tirelessly across various roles. However, there were issues with the generator noise outside the room and a flooded bathroom, impacting the overall experience.

The hotel was in a great location, central to walk everywhere and just far enough away from the noise. The rooms were fairly small but nice and clean, though they could do with a bit of a lift and a paint job. The service was fab, with entertaining staff and great happy hour deals. The dining was on the small side for some, but the organic pulled pork dish stood out. Overall, it was a lovely hotel with clean facilities and a fantastic bathroom.

The hotel is located in a great spot, just a 5-minute walk to Coral Island and Winter Gardens, making it an excellent holiday choice. The rooms, although slightly small for larger individuals, are cozy, and the staff and management are exceptionally accommodating. The service was a mix of friendly and helpful interactions, with some areas for improvement. The outstanding location near the tower and seafront adds to the overall appeal. The dining experience was decent, with room for enhancement. Overall, a lovely stay with great potential for an even better experience.

The hotel location was brilliant, nestled between Blackpool Tower and Central Pier, making it perfect for a stay. The rooms were basic but had everything you needed, with comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower, though some stains on the walls were a downside. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making the overall experience enjoyable. However, the service during check-out could have been smoother, and having staff available at all times is essential. The bar offered reasonable prices and the facilities were clean, but the ground floor layout was a bit narrow, especially for larger guests.
